Troels Schønfeldt, Founder & CEO of Seaborg Technologies

Troels initiated his career as a particle physicist at CERN, the Niels Bohr Institute, European Spallation Source, and DTU. He is a radical-pragmatist, who unintentionally became an impact entrepreneur and CEO when he co-founded Seaborg in 2014.

This is a past event.

The event takes place at DTU Lyngby, Building 306, Auditorium 32.

Join us for another Late Lecture this evening, when Troels Schønfeldt, CEO of Seaborg Technologies will give an exclusive talk about the company, which now employs over 100 people, ranging from business developers to nuclear scientists.

The company has received almost 200M DKK in funding so far and are aiming to make their first delivery of a Power Barge by 2028.

Hear first hand from Troels Schønfeldt, how they started the company, the obstacles along the way and their new technology, set to transform the energy sector and how we think about nuclear energy.

Troels co-founded Seaborg Technologies in 2014 while working on his PhD in neutron physics at the Technical University of Denmark. In 2015 they had developed their own technology and had their first rector design ready. Since then, they've managed to attract investors and grow the company to more than 100 people today.
