10 years in and 20 million users richer, meet the founder of Africa's largest music service

  • Late Lecture Building 306, Aud. 32 Kongens Lyngby, 2800 Denmark (map)

Founder & CEO Martin Møller Nielsen

Martin Nielsen is the co-founder and CEO of Mdundo. He moved to Kenya in 2012 as Entrepreneur in Residence for 88mph, an African investment fund with focus on early stage tech startups in Kenya. Mdundo has over the past 10 years grown to one of Africa’s leading music services with more than 20,000,000 active users every month primarily from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana and Nigeria.

This is a past event.

Hear from the founder of Africa’s largest music service, Mdundo, how the journey has been from founding the company in 2012 to today, 10 years later, when the company is listed on the Nasdaq First North Stock Exchange and has 20 million monthly users. The company currently aims to reach 50 million monthly users within the next 3 years.

Founder & CEO Martin Møller Nielsen will give insights and share his knowledge on entering a market very different to the market we’re used to in the western part of the world. Limited broadband connection and infrastructure means your product to market fit is more important than ever.

We will be serving free sandwiches after the presentation to everyone attending.
The event is free to attend, but registration is required.
